My name's Gina, I'm a Pilates and Yoga teacher from the UK who calls New Zealand home. My online studio focuses on detailed movement to help you feel great in your body. I want to have you feeling resilient, moving well, and trusting in your body. I’ve seen how movement can be such a catalyst for change and joy, let’s find yours.
After being a very reluctant mover for most of my youth, I found yoga and Pilates at 18 and haven’t looked back. At times it’s been a once-a-week kind of love, at others it's been a daily practice. 12 years later, I’m still amazed by how it challenges me, mentally and physically, and its magical ability to change my mood.
Now I’m just a tad more enthusiastic about moving, not a lot makes me happier than getting outside, whether that be running or gardening or a sporadic game of tennis. I want a resilient body that’s capable of anything I throw at it. This is the place where I build classes from: we master the basics then challenge and strengthen to build a healthy and capable body. I genuinely believe that this work can change your life for the better.
My classes have been described as spicy, calming and kind, I’m so happy to have you here.
I currently teach yoga, Reformer and Mat Pilates at Alma in Hawkes Bay, NZ. I offer private sessions in person in Hawkes Bay or online.
